Power-Breakfast-Book
Eric Slosser
In the summer of '95, Apple had a little overheating problem
with their PowerBooks. Our highly effective marketing and PR
machine swung into action, and quickly contained the situation.
While it is true that we weren't happy with the heat that
they were putting out, it wasn't true that they were too hot.
Not at all. You see, we needed them hotter.
You see, market research has shown that high powered mobile
computers were meeting only part of the needs of the busy
professional.
So using multiple LIon batteries, and a Teflon™ coated keyboard,
we've created the first laptop capable of satisfying the other
basic need of the traveling professional. The need for a hot
breakfast.
The PowerBook of the future will be able to produce a fresh-
cooked waffle breakfast in under 7 minutes (assuming sea-level
and fully charged batteries). An optional removable keyboard
will allow access to the pancake/crepé surface (standard
on French keyboards).
